I wasn't overcome with all of the feels intensely; it was more a lingering need to be able to discuss it. And to just let what I'd seen wash over me, and wonder what I was meant to take from it. It shouldn't be marketed as a romance; but in a way, Aimee and Miles' relationship is what wakes him up. Its really subtle in terms of how it delivers any sort of message; him being an alcoholic isn't an obvious obnoxious drunk kid right? So its not even obvious that its a 'problem'... Its just beautifully done. Because it can't always be SO DRUNK ITS BAD. Flaws aren't always so on the surface. That's why I think this is a powerful film. I think its better to linger, than to burn hot, and fizzle.

(See! Your review has inspired all new thoughts and feels!) :) Thank you !Kimberleyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03427724481097317208noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9005037379064329761.post-26057548790133844032013-08-15T19:53:17.820+10:002013-08-15T19:53:17.820+10:00YES! It's sooooo not your typical YA book, and the first-half of this movie was not your typical teen-movie (but then they went a little safe with the ending)

Interested to know your thoughts on this book.
