Last I heard was Melina speaking about it at a Penguin event back in May:

I tweeted: "Jimmy Hailler's story: he's the reluctant father of a baby. It's a 4-pronged story including short stories & a novel - WAIT for it!"

https://twitter.com/danielle_binks/status/329751707871506434

And I do believe one of the short stories has already appeared in an anthology: 'Just Between Us' by Maya Linden, Christie Nieman, Maggie Scott, Natalie Kon-Yu and Miriam Sved - if that was one, it was indeed brilliant and hints at big, big things.Daniellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08440460463119645788noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9005037379064329761.post-48544773935938125192013-10-02T06:26:46.536+10:002013-10-02T06:26:46.536+10:00I love how methodical you are, Danielle. ;) I like...I love how methodical you are, Danielle. ;) I like audiobooks from time to time, but I am SUPER picky about the narrator, so it's good to hear this one did such a great job. This is my favorite Marchetta novel too--BUT WHERE IS OUR JIMMY BOOK? It's past time.

Wendy @ The Midnight GardenWendy Darlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13471461156849725177noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9005037379064329761.post-213667681361907822013-09-29T23:10:40.881+10:002013-09-29T23:10:40.881+10:00I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed this one bec...I am so glad to hear that you enjoyed this one because I think this is going to be my next audio after finished the current Game of Thrones book I am listening to.

Interesting to hear that you don't like the Saving Francesca narration. Rebecca Macauley also narrates On the Jellicoe Road, which I absolutely loved but I listened to SF too close to Jellicoe. I do keep on running into the same female Australian narrators quite regularly which can be problematic at times.

In terms of recommendations, check out the Audie awards for ideas of some of the best productions each year. I have enjoyed listening to some classics via audio too.Marghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13508430635744720721noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9005037379064329761.post-76048014691370872802013-09-20T17:33:05.755+10:002013-09-20T17:33:05.755+10:00This sounds amazing.
