  1. The only way I would be turned would be if all your aches and pains and wrinkles and excess fat went too! However living forever would not be all that good, and you wouldn't be able to eat chocolate any more!!!

  2. Hmm, to be honest prior to having kids, I'd have said yep, bring it on! Immortality sounds awesome. But since having children I'd have to say no...I couldn't stand to see them grow old and die and still be the same!

Already following you of course ;-)

  3. I would not want to be turned. While the knowledge you would acquire over that period of time would be amazing, seeing those I love turn old and die would be devastating! So a no from me!! strkitten (at) yahoo (dot) com (dot) au

  4. I'm not terribly good with blood so I think that might make things difficult but i wouldn't be averse to it as long as I kept my soul and got to hang out with Angel and Spike :)

  5. As much as the prospect of eternal life is tempting, I would prefer to stay human- outliving all my kids would be too hard. It could also be a little difficult to stay inside all day when I have to run around after them!

  6. I think my answer could go either way, I suppose if everyone was doing it, I would too, but if everyone I knew decided to stay human, so would I because otherwise I'd have to watch them all grow old :(

    Thanks for hosting this giveaway!

  7. I think that while the idea of being immortal is appealing, it would get a little boring. While I would love to have eternity to make my way through my growing to-read list and travel, it would eventually become monotonous - part of the reason we dream to do amazing things is the whole 'I want to do that before I die' complex and if that were removed I'm not sure how motivated I would be knowing I could simply put things off until tomorrow.
Also, as other have mentioned, the thought of watching all the people I love die while I live on is too devastating to contemplate.

    So...a no from me :)

  8. I don't think I would. Drinking blood, being undead, watching everyone you know wrinkle and die...no thanks. Eternal life just seems to not be beneficial or natural or enjoyable as it perhaps sounds. But I guess it depends on the circumstances e.g. who's offering.

  9. No. Why? (Depending on which vamp world you live in)
    - drinking blood
    - no sun
    - not being able to eat chocolate, cakes etc and enjoy them!! (probably should have put this first :))
    - watching people you love die
    - not being able to cut my hair (according to Rices' vamps - in the movie)
    - being 'sparkly', because seriously, who wants to be sparkly.
    - surviving a gun-shot wound (because you'd still feel pain right?)
    - having my face turn scrunched-up-like when I turned all vampiry (buffy)

That's all I can think of at the moment :).
